What If We Broke It?

Textile Art Performance project, "What If We Broke It?" is a powerful garment and performance piece designed to explore and challenge the constraints placed on women to conform to social norms.  The chains will forever be sewn into the jacket as reminders of the pain these social norms have caused. The shattered concrete rubble surrounds the piece, symbolizes the results of women breaking free from these norms and working together to create change. This thought-provoking project highlights the impact of societal expectations on women and celebrates the strength and resilience of those who dare to defy them.
